Whole Living with Terri Trespicio Gets Crafty
Tuesday, March 31st, 2009This Tuesday morning at 10am I hit the airwaves once again to chat with the always delightful Martha Stewart Radio

This is what my dining room table looked like at 7:30am:
I had just completed carefully cutting pieces of paper (both tissue and construction), and gathering up my craft supplies to head over to Sirius. Oh, so many pretty colors!
Yep, Terri and I did some seriously cute on-air crafting. I showed her how to make Sweet Umbrellas, a very simple spring craft that you can make on the cheap. They make great party favors or decorative touches to your springtime table. Here’s a close up of the finished crafts:
Aren’t those little blue boys j’adorable? I want to make hundreds of them and just pass them out to strangers on a rainy day. Sure, they won’t keep the drops away, but they are sweet as can be. I fill mine with jelly beans, the greatest candy in the world. Nothing puts a smile on someone’s face faster than a jelly bean.
The orange guys to the right are candy carrots. They’re pretty darling themselves. Say, I’ll tell you what. Maybe if you’re extra sweet, I’ll go ahead and post the instructions for those sweeties right here. And then you’ll see how easy spring crafting can be!
